About the Role

As a Recovery Assistant, you will foster a sense of hope and trust through relationship building, assist residents in identifying and developing recovery goals, and provide support in skill building techniques. You will participate in community activities, maintain documentation of residents' progress, and work with the treatment team to promote community integration. Responsibilities also include maintaining the physical condition of the unit and adhering to established policies and procedures.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent plus twelve (12) semester credit hours from an approved educational program.
Minimum of one year work history in human services or at least two years of direct care experience in a mental health, medical, or educational setting.

Preferred:

Associates or Bachelor Degree in a related field.
CPR certification and computer literacy.
