Easterseals Southern California is seeking an RBT Associate Social Skills Facilitator to join their team in Ontario, CA. The role involves implementing social skills interventions and providing training based on evidence-based strategies for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
About the Role
As an RBT Associate Social Skills Facilitator, you will be responsible for providing specialized intervention and teaching strategies in a group setting, completing necessary documentation, assisting in data analysis and progress reports, participating in planning meetings, and completing assigned administrative activities. You will work under general supervision to increase and maintain social targets among participants.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's Degree or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with preference to programs related to early childhood education, psychology, nursing or related field.
Current certified Registered Behavior Technician through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
1 year experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities.
Preferred:
Demonstrated competency in approaches to intervention based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to maintain positive customer interaction and professionalism.
