Following hospitalization for a severe illness or injury, many patients require supervised rehabilitation in a clinical setting before they can achieve their previous quality of life. Opened in June 2005, the beautiful campus of PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Sarasota, conveniently located off I-75 at exit 207, is fully equipped to care for patients who require extended hospitalization. This long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital in Sarasota, FL, has 40 licensed beds and a medical staff of over 70 physicians. We believe that an interdisciplinary approach helps speed physical, emotional and spiritual recovery. For this reason, we staff our long-term acute care hospitals with medical professionals from a wide range of disciplines. Our highly skilled treatment team includes physicians, registered nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists and physical, speech, occupational, respiratory and psychological therapists. We also work with doctors who specialize in treating a variety of diseases and conditions, so you can feel confident in the individualized care you will receive.
