- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification.
- Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (CA or HI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment (CA within 6 months of hire).
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology.
