Summary
DG Foods LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team in Bastrop, LA. The role involves supporting the FSQA department with maintaining proper documentation of products and processes to ensure quality standards.
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will monitor HACCP programs, GMPs, and SSOP programs to ensure regulatory compliance. You will record deficiencies, communicate issues to management, and enforce QA programs. Additionally, you will ensure all products meet specifications and perform other duties as assigned by the FSQA Supervisor.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a cooler environment (sometimes as low as 28 degrees).
- Working knowledge of tablets for paper-free FSQA records keeping.
Preferred:
- Solid understanding of HACCP and prerequisite programs such as SSOP and GMP.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
