About the Role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will work with local project teams to implement best quality practices across the portfolio. Your responsibilities include creating and updating QMS work procedures, facilitating training, establishing relationships with key staff, coordinating data calls, and ensuring successful audit outcomes. You will also provide knowledge to reduce risks to projects and facilities under certification.
About You
Required:
- Experience providing quality support for engineering or science solutions in a technical facility or controlled laboratory environment.
- Experience with the control of inspection, measuring, or test equipment for calibration and ESD.
- Experience with risk assessment to support technical project delivery.
- Experience with non-conformance dispositioning and root cause investigations.
- Experience supporting and conducting AS9100 or ISO 9001 audits.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED with 11+ years of experience in quality assurance, or Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience.
Preferred:
- Experience in a Quality role within a certified ISO 9001 or AS9100 facility.
- Experience with additional models and standards, including CMMI or ISO 20000.
- Experience with process modeling tools like Visio.
- Experience providing training support for quality processes.
- Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Secret clearance.
- Master's degree.
