OXERRA Americas is seeking a QC Laboratory Technician to join their team in Augusta, GA. The role involves working in a laboratory environment to evaluate and adjust product colors and perform various physical and chemical tests.
About the Role
As a QC Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for color evaluation through visual and machine measurement, adjusting colors based on analysis, conducting physical and chemical attribute testing, preparing lab reagents, maintaining laboratory equipment, managing product retains, and contributing to continuous improvement systems.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED plus experience that shows high technical aptitude.
- Associate degree in science related course of study.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED with 3 years’ experience working in a laboratory.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related course of study.
- Experience color matching.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting (professionally or in school).
- Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong basic math skills, able to solve algebraic problems.
