About the Role
As a Public Safety Officer, you will be responsible for responding to calls for assistance, providing support during special events, conducting vehicle and foot patrols, enforcing college policies, and completing incident documentation. This position requires working the evening shift and being available 24/7 as the Department of Public Safety operates year-round.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid US Driver’s license and excellent driving record.
Preferred:
- Previous related security/law enforcement experience.
- Experience in campus public safety.
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
