Summary
Ohio Living is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) for a PRN position in Youngstown, OH. The role involves performing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to ensure high-quality care.
About the Role
As a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, you will implement the Plan of Care developed by the Physical Therapist, communicate with the clinical team, educate patients and families, conduct home visits, and maintain compliance with healthcare standards. You will also be responsible for accurate patient record-keeping and ensuring a clean and safe treatment environment.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Technology from a CAPTE accredited program.
- Current unencumbered license for the state of Ohio to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA).
- Experience in the care of geriatric and physical therapy patients.
Preferred:
- One year experience as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in a hospital, long-term care facility, or home health agency.
- Knowledge of treatment modalities.
