About the Role
As a Psychotherapist, Sexual Health, you will be responsible for delivering direct care behavioral health services, including assessment, psychotherapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention. You will coordinate care among multiple providers, maintain communication with medical personnel, and provide emergency call coverage. Additionally, you will manage your caseload to meet productivity goals and participate in interdisciplinary team activities.
About You
Required:
- Doctoral or Masters Degree in a recognized behavioral health discipline.
- Licensure at the Masters or doctorate level from the appropriate state board permitting the full scope of practice.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in Sexual Health.
- Training in Human Sexuality and Gender or Certification in Human Sexuality.
- Two years of supervised clinical experience with a broad range of presenting problems and therapies.
- Experience and/or training in pain management techniques.
- Familiarity and ability to conduct diagnostic assessments.
- Background in both child and adult services.
Preferred:
- Experience as a behavioral health clinician in a managed care setting.
- Experience in an outpatient setting as a primary care behavioral health provider.
