About the Role
As a Psychotherapist, you will assess residents' needs, develop and follow treatment plans, document therapy sessions, and maintain communication with facility staff. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to address a wide range of mental health issues, ensuring that all treatment provided is medically necessary and compliant with legal and ethical standards.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in social work or a related field.
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Knowledge of assessment techniques and psychotherapy methods.
Preferred:
- Experience working in long-term care settings.
- Familiarity with DSM diagnostic tools and techniques.
