Summary
Coterie Insurance is seeking a Property Claims Specialist to join their team in a 100% remote capacity. The role involves developing and implementing strategies for resolving commercial property claims of varying severity and complexity.
About the Role
As a Property Claims Specialist, you will work closely with the Property Claims Manager and other stakeholders to build a world-class claims organization. Your responsibilities will include investigating claims, assessing coverage issues, negotiating resolutions, and preparing reports for senior management. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams on various initiatives and maintain timely communication with all claim stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of work experience at an insurance company and/or insurance claims loss adjustment service provider resolving property and casualty claims.
- Considerable working knowledge of insurance industry and insurance claims operations, particularly around commercial property and casualty claims.
Preferred:
- College degree.
- Previous experience supporting a business through explosive growth.
- Quality Assurance (QA), Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), User Experience (UX/UI), Design Thinking, Lean, Agile, Project Management (PM), and/or Product Owner (PO) experience.
