Summary
The People Placers is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Long Valley, NJ. The role involves coordinating all aspects of assigned projects in the material handling industry, specifically in structural steel storage racking and ASRS structural buildings.
About the Role
As a Project Manager/Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring all deliverables are executed according to the terms of the orders. Your daily tasks will include compiling project status reports, coordinating project schedules, defining project scope, monitoring engineering and manufacturing schedules, and coordinating third-party purchases and material deliveries to project sites.
About You
Required:
- Up to 5 years of experience in construction, project management, project engineering, or project coordination in a building or related field.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to read drawings and troubleshoot technical issues.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or construction management.
- Material handling experience.
