About the Role
As a Program Specialist – Grants Management, you will be responsible for overseeing grant management projects, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables, and providing technical assistance to Head Start programs. Your duties will include reviewing grant applications, engaging with program directors, conducting site visits, and preparing performance reports. You will work in a collaborative environment and may need to travel within Region V.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of related grants/casework experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards.
- Experience in early childhood education or related fields.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the administration of discretionary grants.
- Experience developing project process documentation and quality control procedures.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
- Full-time exempt position with typical work hours of Monday-Friday, 40-60 hours per week.

- Travel required within Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
