Summary
YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a Program Director for Spring Branch ISD to develop, organize, and implement high-quality afterschool and day camp programs throughout the Greater Houston area.
About the Role
As a Program Director, you will oversee youth development programs, ensuring compliance with state regulations and YMCA standards. You will be responsible for staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation, as well as managing budgets and promoting program growth within the community. Your role will involve building relationships with families and community partners, engaging in program evaluation, and participating in fundraising campaigns.
About You
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in licensed childcare, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Must meet Director qualifications as stated in the Minimum Standards under TDPRS.
- At least 21 years of age.
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse prevention training.
Preferred:
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Current record of tuberculosis examination and/or health department regulations.
