Summary
West Fraser is seeking a Production Technician to join their team in Nacogdoches, TX. The role involves operating machinery to produce oriented strand board (OSB) while ensuring safety and productivity.
About the Role
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the daily operation of manufacturing equipment that produces OSB. Your tasks will include operating forklifts, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and participating in process improvement initiatives. You will work in a team environment and comply with all safety standards.
About You
Required:
- Eligible to legally work in the United States
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Consistent, predictable attendance
