BNY is seeking a Production Services Application Support Analyst- Mainframe to join their Asset Servicing Global Transfer Agency Production Support team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves providing application support for complex applications and managing production incidents.
About the Role
As a Production Services Application Support Analyst- Mainframe, you will provide application support for moderately and highly complex applications, manage incident and problem management services, lead troubleshooting during production outages, and collaborate with business and application development stakeholders. You will also conduct production readiness reviews for new releases and ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setups.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 8-10 years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology.
- Strong knowledge of Cobol, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
- Experience in application deployment and strong debugging skills.
Preferred:
- Hands-on knowledge of utilities such as DFSort, Syncsort, Rexx, Ezytrieve, FileAid, and Control-M.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps.
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Management.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
