About the Role
As a Production Planner, you will provide direction and prioritization to operational teams, develop and maintain production schedules, ensure material availability, collaborate with engineering and operations to optimize workflow, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will also analyze customer forecasts and monitor sales and demand schedules to maintain production efficiency while adhering to aerospace quality standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- Manufacturing experience in aerospace or metal casting.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing setting.
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Advanced Excel, Power Query, or database management skills for efficient production analysis.
