Summary
ABB is seeking a Production Manager to join their team in Florence, SC. The role involves ensuring efficiency and cost-effective production results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets.
About the Role
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for resource allocation, production scheduling and planning, production execution, and operations improvement. You will lead capacity planning and resource optimization, ensure on-time delivery targets, and partner with various teams to enhance production performance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or HS Diploma and at least 10 years of experience in manufacturing or job shop environment.
- Previous leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a job shop.
- Knowledge of scheduling and production control processes.
- Knowledge of supply chain insourcing and outsourcing decisions and processes.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and coach the team.
Preferred:
- Experience in a job shop environment.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes.
