About the Role
As a Producer/Planner, you will be responsible for curating and producing content for live coverage of breaking news and important events. You will research and book live guests, coordinate with internal and external partners, and maintain relationships with key contacts in various stations. Your role will also involve monitoring live feeds and social media for fresh content, updating the editorial calendar, and pitching story ideas.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years’ experience producing news content.
- BA/BS degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of digital news production, including live streaming and video publishing.
- Impeccable organization skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in web-based newsgathering tools and digital analytics.
Preferred:
- On-camera hosting or reporting experience.
- Expertise in social media.
