Morgan Human Capital Management is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team in La Porte, TX. The role involves acting as the primary point of contact for all matters concerning the manufacturing process at the La Porte plant.
About the Role
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and recommending process improvements, leading Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), troubleshooting production processes, supporting capital projects, and driving standardization across shifts. You will also provide technical expertise for DCS operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in chemical or mechanical engineering.
At least four years of operations or process engineering experience in refining or specialty chemicals manufacturing.
Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and operating distributed control systems (DCS).
Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
PSM experience.
Experience as a console board operator in a process-intensive operation.
Familiarity with pumps, dryers, ventilators, hydraulics, high-pressure injection, high temperature applications, and reactors.
