About the Role
As a PRN Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with fellowship trained sports medicine physicians, physical therapists, and athletic trainers. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal diseases, ordering and reviewing imaging, performing orthopedic procedures, and developing comprehensive treatment plans for patients. You will also maintain accurate patient records and educate patients on their diagnosis and treatment plans.
About You
Required:
- Graduated from a master's program as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Certified/Licensed as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner and maintain licensure in the state of Alabama.
- NP's must have Family Medicine Certification or equivalent/must be qualified to see patients of all ages.
- Comfortable working autonomously.
- Ability to excel as a team player and foster positive relationships between all departments.
- Able to work under pressure with competing demands.
Preferred:
- Experience in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.
