About the Role
As a Principal Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code. You will define and execute system-level performance studies, work within an agile framework, and support missile performance analysis including model development and system optimization.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling/Simulation.
- Experience in missile system applications including digital control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, and GPS/INS navigation systems.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance.
Preferred:
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree.
- 8 or more years of experience in GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling/Simulation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and customers.
- Subject Matter Expert in RF algorithm design, GNC algorithm design, or autopilot algorithm design.
