About the Role
As a Principal System Concepts Engineer, you will independently drive solutions to complex problems, lead medium-sized teams, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Systems Engineering. Your responsibilities will include developing requirements, identifying technical risks, mentoring less experienced engineers, and applying analysis techniques across various technical challenges.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
- 7-10+ years experience as a systems engineer or in a related role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Practical experience with simulation-based performance analysis and the systems engineering process.
Preferred:
- Master's degree or higher.
- Proficiency with modeling and simulation, computer language coding, and descriptive modeling (e.g. SysML).
- Knowledge of GN&C, avionics architectures, fault tolerance, cyber/security, and threat modeling.
