About the Role
As a Principal Interaction Designer, you will be responsible for guiding project teams, mentoring designers, and managing client relationships independently. You will work at the intersection of usability, strategy, visual storytelling, and technical implementation, contributing to the design of intuitive user interfaces and ensuring a unified, user-centered experience across disciplines. The role requires up to 15% business travel for project-related engagements.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in interaction design, UX/UI design, or digital product design.
- Mastery of usability principles, UX methodology, and research techniques.
- Expert-level proficiency in design thinking and UI/UX design.
- Strong understanding of development approaches to software, websites, and apps.
Preferred:
- Experience leading qualitative research, workshops, and team critiques.
- Proficiency with design tools including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to communicate design concepts clearly through sketches and prototypes.
- Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, inclusion, empathy, and mentorship.
