About the Role
As a Principal Engineer, you will manage projects, lead business development efforts, communicate with clients and staff, supervise regional staff, and stay updated on regulations. You will also develop budgets, prepare project proposals, and respond to RFPs.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations at the state and federal level.
- Effective communication skills with peers, clients, and regulators.
- Prior project management experience and business development skills.
Preferred:
- State professional licensing.
- Established knowledge of the consulting field and geographic knowledge of clientele.
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and interpersonal skills.
