About the Role
As a Principal Consultant, you will lead client engagements related to data warehousing, ETL development, data integrations, and data modeling. This role requires strong people management skills and the ability to work independently in a client-facing environment. You will be responsible for executing projects, collaborating with team members, and mentoring junior engineers. The position involves leading the implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines and ensuring compliance and security measures for data pipelines.
About You
Required:
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 4-6 years' experience in data engineering and big data, with at least 2 years in professional services.
- Extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts and hands-on experience deploying pipelines using Databricks.
Preferred:
- Databricks Data Engineer Professional certification.
- Data modeling and database design skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience architecting scalable and fault-tolerant data solutions across Azure, AWS, and Databricks.
