About the Role
As a Press Maintenance Apprentice, you will be responsible for conducting bi-weekly and monthly inspections on all presses and scrap conveyors, supporting shutdown activities, verifying spare parts, performing basic maintenance tasks, and recording work in the Plex system. You will work closely with a Press Maintenance Technician to develop the necessary technical skills to advance to a technician level.
About You
Required:
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work odd shifts, weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and overtime.
- Must be quality-oriented and understand how every task may impact quality.
Preferred:
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Experience with basic wiring or similar maintenance activities.
