About the Role

As a Pre-Verification Specialist, you will be responsible for obtaining prior authorizations for diagnostic studies, procedures, and surgeries as required by insurance companies. You will verify patient status, review coverage policies, update insurance information, assist clinic staff and patients with insurance inquiries, and document information in electronic record systems while maintaining confidentiality.

About You

Required:

AAS in Health Care Business or a combination of education and experience.
Two years of experience with patients and providers in a clinic, hospital, or health insurance setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance verification process.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong computer skills.

Preferred:

Epic Experience.
Experience with Insurance Authorizations.
