Summary
WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Power Delivery Regional Business Development Director for the Northeast, responsible for driving new business in the Northeast US Power market, focusing on Transmission and Distribution projects.
About the Role
As the Power Delivery Regional Business Development Director, you will lead business growth in the energy sector, establish strategic partnerships, gather market intelligence, generate new business, and maintain client relationships. You will also participate in conferences, define market entry requirements, and ensure client satisfaction through regular feedback and engagement.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 15+ years of relevant post education experience in the Power industry and engineering field.
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure policy and design.
- Experience with infrastructure planning and design, including involvement in rehabilitation and construction projects.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated self-leadership with attention to detail and ability to prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety.
Preferred:
- Experience in business development and sales within the energy sector.
- Familiarity with digital adoption and grid modernization trends.
