Summary
Borinquen Medical Center is seeking a full-time Podiatrist/Podiatric Surgeon to join their growing practice with five locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
About the Role
As a Podiatrist/Podiatric Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions through physical exams, medical histories, x-rays, and lab tests. You will perform foot and ankle surgeries, treat sports injuries, fractures, diabetic foot issues, and wounds. Additionally, you will prescribe medications, corrective devices, and physical therapy, while providing patient education on foot care and wellness. You will also maintain accurate records in EHR and collaborate with specialists when necessary.
About You
Required:
- DPM license for Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island.
- Prior podiatry experience.
- Knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with genetic abnormalities and deformities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Up-to-date technology knowledge.
