CleanJoule Inc. is seeking a Plant Process Operator to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining biorefinery plant processing equipment in an automated chemical facility.
About the Role
As a Plant Process Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, basic repair, and cleaning of all equipment associated with bioprocessing processes. You will operate the DCS and PLCs, monitor system parameters, collect and test quality control samples, and assist with preventive and predictive maintenance. The position requires adaptability to a continuous multi-shift operation schedule, including 12-hour shifts.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least two years of prior experience working in a process environment or in a process maintenance position in industries such as petrochemical/refineries, bio-refineries, chemical, food manufacturing, or pharmaceutical.
Preferred:
- Process Technology Degree/Certificate or Vocational Degree/Certification focused in technical, mechanical, or electrical.
- Experience with chemicals and chemical processes.
- Prior experience handling flammable chemicals.
- Demonstrated effective written/verbal communication skills.
