About the Role
As a Plant & Tree Care Technician, you will be responsible for identifying and diagnosing pest issues, educating clients on pest control and fertilization services, monitoring plant health, and operating necessary equipment. Your work will contribute to maintaining the quality of outdoor spaces and ensuring customer satisfaction.
About You
Required:
- Love of the outdoors
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Qualified Plant Health Care Tech training program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
Preferred:
- Background in Forestry, Horticulture or Landscaping
- Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
- Knowledge of Turf, Weed, Tree and shrub ID, Pathology and turf or tree physiology
