About the Role
As a Psychiatrist in the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program, you will be responsible for assessments, consultations, and treatments for substance use and mental health disorders. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, engage in educational activities, and may supervise other healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and telework is not available.
About You
Required:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent)
- Degree from VA-approved school
- Current unrestricted medical license
- Completed residency training approved by the VA
- English proficiency
Preferred:
- ABPN board certification or eligibility
- Buprenorphine treatment experience
- Addiction Psychiatry certification or eligibility
