About the Role
As a Physician Assistant in Neurosurgery, you will be responsible for admitting patients, performing consultations, and discharging neurosurgical patients. You will conduct daily rounds, formulate treatment plans, assist in surgical procedures, and ensure timely documentation of patient encounters. Additionally, you will evaluate patients in outpatient settings and serve as a clinical resource for the neurosurgical team.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a U.S. school accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on the Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
- NJ Physician Assistant License - P.A.
- NJ Controlled Dangerous Substances Physician Certification - C.D.S.
- Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate - DEA.
Preferred:
- Masters degree.
- At least two years of practice as a surgical Physician Assistant.
- Neuroscience experience.
- EPIC experience.
- Basic and Advanced Life Support certification.
