About the Role
As a Physician Assistant in Critical Care, you will work with Intensivists and a multidisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive exams, make differential diagnoses, and prescribe treatments for acute and chronic illnesses in critically ill medical and surgical patients. You will rotate between different ICU sites and be cross-trained for all ICUs, contributing to high-quality patient care and safety.
About You
Required:
- Current PA license in the State of Illinois
- Illinois Controlled Substance & DEA License BLS/ACLS
- Physician Associate / NCCPA Board certification
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Associate program; Master's Degree
- Experience in critical care patient management or completion of a one-year critical care residency
Preferred:
- Cardiovascular experience
