Summary

Actalent is seeking an ENTRY Pharmacy Technician to join their hospital team in Washington, DC. The role focuses on the timely and accurate delivery of medications and supplies to various departments within the hospital.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for delivering medications and supplies, maintaining accurate delivery logs, verifying patient information, and communicating with healthcare professionals. You will also assist with inventory management, prepare medications under supervision, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety procedures.

About You

Required:

Pharmacy technician certification
DC Pharmacy license required
1-2 years of Retail, Oncology, or Hospital experience
High school degree or GED diploma required
DC Department of Health (DOH) registration required

Preferred:

Compounding skills
Fulfillment experience
Experience with Pyxis systems
Hospital experience preferred but not required
