About the Role
As an Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in providing care to patients, including duties such as sterile IV compounding, using automated dispensing systems, and managing inventory processes. You will also work with the EPIC health information system and Microsoft Suite resources, with opportunities for growth into specialty areas within the organization.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Accurate work with careful attention to detail.
- Excellent math and computer skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and health professionals.
- Ability to adapt to changes in workload and schedule.
Preferred:
- Previous retail pharmacy or related hospital pharmacy experience.
- Current registration as a Registered Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio or expectation of gaining this within 6 months of hire.
