Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (Southwest) is seeking a Perianesthesia Nurse to join their team in Abilene, TX. The role involves providing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care in an office-based anesthesia setting.
About the Role
As a Perianesthesia Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and caring for patients before, during, and after anesthesia procedures. Your duties will include maintaining pharmacy supplies, handling equipment safely, and participating in quality improvement activities. You will work alongside an anesthesia and surgical team during standard business hours, with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays required.
About You
Required:
Graduate degree from an accredited RN program with active RN licensure in the state of TX.
A minimum of 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience.
BLS and ACLS certification is required.
Preferred:
PALS certification.
Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish-speaking.
