About You
- Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction.
- California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing License.
- California Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) without restriction.
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certificate within 3 months of hire.
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR.
- National NP board certification in aligned specialty with the practice area.
- Graduation with a master’s degree, DNP or PhD in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
- One (1) year or greater experience in palliative care or two (2) years or greater of pediatric inpatient ward or ICU level experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-direction and organizational skills to function in an independent role.
- Five or more years of pediatric nursing including care of children with complex, chronic and/or life-threatening conditions.
