About the Role
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll on a regular schedule, collecting and validating timesheets, maintaining accurate payroll records, ensuring compliance with payroll laws, calculating wages and deductions, preparing paychecks, generating payroll reports, and assisting employees with payroll inquiries.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in payroll, accounting, or HR administration preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday, UKG, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll regulations, taxes, and compliance requirements.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CCP) certifications preferred.
- Union payroll experience preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
