About the Role
As a Patient Registration Coordinator, you will greet patients, verify identification and insurance, manage patient accounts, and perform necessary administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include maintaining an organized waiting area, collecting patient fees, verifying insurance eligibility, and assisting with insurance forms. You will also cover the reception desk, manage admissions and discharges, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience as a general office clerk with basic math, accounting skills, and cash handling experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Healthcare experience.
- Experience in front desk, admissions, billing, and/or collections.
- Accurate data entry and basic keyboarding skills.
- Basic computer/word processing skills.
