About the Role
As a Patient Observation Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions and behaviors, completing observation reports, and interacting supportively with staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain at the bedside of assigned patients, assist with patient needs, and ensure a safe environment by reporting any safety hazards. Your role will also include responding to emergencies and collaborating with nursing staff to provide the best care.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Current CPR AED or basic life support healthcare provider (BLS-HCP) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- One to two years of previous experience in a healthcare setting.
