About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician Telemetry, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care to patients across different units, including General Nursing, Special Care Areas, Maternal Child Units, Pediatric care, GI Lab Unit, Emergency Unit, and Surgical Services. Your duties will include completing established competencies, assisting with patient care, and performing other related tasks as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician program.
- 2 years of clinical experience in Inpatient, Emergency Department, or Skilled Nursing Unit.
- Current Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Phlebotomist, or EKG Tech certification.
- BLS certification obtained through approved training.
Preferred:
- Completion of a nurse aide course, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assisting program.
