DaVita Kidney Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join their team in Natrona Heights, PA. The role involves providing compassionate care to patients in an outpatient dialysis center.
About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care, providing safe and hygienic dialysis treatment. You will monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, record vital statistics, and educate patients on kidney dialysis topics. You will work as part of a cross-functional team under the supervision of a registered nurse.
About You
Required:
- Desire to enter the health care field to care for other people in need.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet.
Preferred:
- Health care experience including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
