About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician II, you will be responsible for performing basic nursing procedures related to the care and comfort of patients in stable condition, assisting RNs in the care of acutely ill patients, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Your daily tasks will include documenting patient care in the electronic medical record, participating in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives, and performing various duties related to patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
About You
Required:
- High School/GED
- Experience as a PCA, PCT, NA, LPN, EMT, or Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman, Combat medic, or Medical Service Technician
- 1 year in an acute or long-term care facility OR enrolled in an Associate's in Nursing or Bachelor's in Nursing program
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient in Phlebotomy and straight catherization
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
