About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will assist the nursing staff in providing patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your responsibilities will include obtaining and recording patient information, assisting with mobility, collecting specimens, and providing support with activities of daily living. You will also maintain a clean and safe patient care environment and engage in evidence-based best practices to enhance the patient experience.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CNA certification with the state or Fundamentals of Nursing Course at accredited school.
- 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Preferred:
- Emergency Services and/or Military Medic experience.
