About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be responsible for taking patient histories, obtaining vital signs, performing basic testing and screenings, conducting phlebotomy, and ensuring proper documentation of lab tests. You will assist providers with exams, maintain examination rooms, and ensure good patient flow while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
About You
Required:
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and families.
- Basic computer skills, including the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Ability to complete and maintain CPR certification.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills, including grammatical, spelling, and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to work effectively under conditions requiring accuracy.
