About the Role
As a Patient Care Associate, you will be responsible for delivering basic nursing care to a diverse group of patients, including those in general nursing units, special care areas, maternal child units, and emergency units. You will work closely with clinically competent nursing staff to ensure high-quality care for patients ranging from neonates to adults with various health conditions. Your duties will include completing established competencies and performing other related tasks as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- BLS certification obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or Military Training Network.
Preferred:
- Satisfactorily completed a Nurse Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assisting course.
- 6 months of experience in the healthcare industry and/or knowledge of basic medical terms and procedures.
