About the Role
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will be responsible for greeting patients, performing intake and discharge functions, obtaining and recording vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort. You will also assist with cleaning and disinfecting treatment areas, managing supplies, and supporting physicians and other staff members as needed. The position requires effective communication and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment with a high level of patient contact.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to achieve Basic Life Support certification within six months of employment.
Preferred:
- Previous clinic job-related experience.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and Universal Precaution techniques.
